Marissa Guerrero


Marissa Guerrero is a Program Officer at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation on the Organizational Effectiveness team. At the foundation, she provides organizational development funding for grantees working on reproductive health and protecting biodiversity.

Prior to joining the foundation, Marissa was a director at Arabella Advisors, a philanthropic consulting firm. She fell in love with CYC through her work as the resource development manager at the California Court Appointed Special Advocate Association (CalCASA). She wore many hats at CalCASA, but is most proud of her role in training CASA staff members and volunteers to support LGBTQ+ youth in care. 

Marissa has a BA in political science and women’s studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. She also holds an MA and PhD in political science from the University of Chicago.
