Ray Bussolari is an East Coast native who comes to CYC/YTP/FYM with a tremendous amount of experience, skill, talent and passion. He strives to create long-term relationships and collaborations with communities that need assistance and access in order to have their stories told. Through the use of photography, exhibition design, and curatorial partnerships, he creates platforms for people to express themselves utilizing art, artifacts, and text.
For the past two years, he has worked with Foster Youth Museum (FYM) to produce groundbreaking exhibitions that are now traveling throughout the United States. Lost Childhoods, Homeless, and Tribute, all address specific aspects of life in and out of the foster care system. He continues to assist the museum with exhibitions and is producing a book that will personify FYM’s collection and community, while also providing another avenue for foster voices to be heard.
